BM 2000 SP - Egypt's new city roadmarking project
Borum customer Al Safwa was awarded the road marking project in New Mansoura, Egypt's new city. Filling system for hot thermoplastic

How do you fill hot material into your thermoplastic machine? Usually it is done from a supply truck, where the melted material is transferred using gravity from the difference in height on the truck to the machine. If you don't have the difference in height, then a solution could be using a filling system with a pump. We just retro-fitted a filling system on one of our small trailer solutions....

What is difference between Cold and Thermoplastic paint?
Cold paint material is a cost-effective solution for executing flat markings. Flat lines are mainly used in well-illuminated areas as urban roads for e.g. where the lines do not need high retro-reflectivity levels. Thermoplastic usually has a longer lifetime than cold paint. With thermoplastic, you can make flat and profiled markings. Profiled road markings are the newest road marking technology where a part of the road marking typology is raised over the road surface. There is a possibility for a better retro-reflectivity for profiled markings. There are many things to take in consideration when choosing the material type for your markings.
